Yes this is my cup of tea, my beautiful golden retriever Bonnie & of course merged with a British flag ;)
I love the idea of tag posts because I actually feel like I learn more about myself! Like half of these I never would have thought of, so let’s crack on with the British Tag! (I’m now humming our national anthem haha)…
1. How many cups of tea do you have a day and how many sugars?
I used to drink tea ALL the time! Not so much now but when I do, I love my tea very milky & very sweet. (very unhealthy I know) I use sweeteners instead of sugar as I have done all my life but you really can’t beat a good English cup of tea!
2. Favourite part of your roast?
Everyone always thinks I’m such a weirdo because I really don’t like Roast Dinners, my family have one every Sunday & I have a separate dinner! I know, poor excuse for a British girl!…
3. Favourite dunking biscuit?
NICE biscuits, every time. (YES THAT’S A BRAND) ;)
4. Favourite quintessentially British pass time?
What’s more British than a really long walk in the country side! (not forgetting your wellies of course). Definitely my favourite thing to do all year round!
5. Favourite word?
“GEEZER” Google this if you don’t know, it’s fun to say with any accent.
6. Cockney rhyming slang?
Well I am Cockney (being from East London) so I’ve practically grown up with Cockney rhyming slang, my Nan had the best cockney accent ever! But …
RUBY MURRAY = CURRY
ROSEY LEE = TEA
those are 100% my favourites!
7. Favourite sweet?
Fizzy Bubblegum bottles! HANDS DOWN!
8. What would your pub be called?
Err, this is hard. HMMM… “The Smiler” …That’s my Granddads old nickname & he’s as East End as they come!
9. No.1 British person?
Well if we’re not including family then it ranges from David Tennant to of course the ever famous David Jason! (DEL BOY)
10. Favourite shop/restaurant?
BOOTS OR HOUSE OF FRASER! & If we’re talking restaurants then you really can’t beat any traditional Pie & Mash shop in the East End! Honestly, if you haven’t tried it then you have to!!
If you’re ever in the Eastend then head on down to Bethnal Green road & visit the one and only …
11. What British song pops into your head?
Spice Up Your Life! … Re living my childhood with the best English girl group ever!
